Thank you to Jesse Fordham for sponsoring this post.
One of the things I love most about having this blog, is being able to celebrate other people on it. A few weeks ago, a VF reader sent me a few products and a recipe to try out for the upcoming Fall season. I’ve used the recipe already, and can honestly say that these energy bites are easy to make, they include very healthy ingredients, and my whole family loves the taste. I wanted to share the recipe and product information below so that you can easily re-create this at home. I like to eat a few of these energy bites for a quick boost in the mornings, while I’m taking care of the kids. It’s a healthy way to get some much needed protein, and the pumpkin pie flavor goes well with a fresh cup of coffee. The chocolate protein shake mix is plant-based, so feel free to send a few of these energy bites to your vegan friends to enjoy! It’s derived from peas, rice, and cranberries. It has little effect on blood sugar levels so you won’t see your child spike and then crash after eating an energy bite or two. There are 24 essential vitamins and minerals inside, 19 amino acids, vitamin B12 and folate, fiber, protein, and it curbs my chocolate craving.
Here’s The Recipe for these delicious energy bites:
Mix all of the below ingredients together and form into 1 inch balls:
- 11/4 cup of gluten free oats
- 2 scoops of chocolate protein shake mix
- 3/4 cup of nut butter
- 1/2 cup organic pumpkin puree
- 3 tbs raw agave nectar or local honey
- pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon to taste (I use 1/2 tsp each)
- refrigerate and enjoy
Here are other products I will be using in upcoming blog posts from Jesse’s shop:
- Chocolate Protein Shake Mix
- Vanilla Protein Shake Mix
- Caramel Fit Chews
- Cherry Lime Mind Health
- Strawberry Fizz Stick
- Pomegranate Fizz Stick
- Citrus Fizz Stick
- Skin Elixir Collagen Builder
- Advanced Skin Revitalizing Facial Sheet Mask

Me too! With the leftover pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and agave nectar….my husband and I made waffles. They were awesome.
