What We Are Planting In Our Garden This Year (Zone 8)
Feb 29, 2024
Details:
Paul and I are planting all sorts of goodies in our garden this week. We are not expert gardeners, but it’s become a hobby that bonds us. We like the experimentation, research, and ritual of being outdoors working hard at something together. The girls enjoy harvesting the herbs and vegetables and I like having fresh food to cook with at a moment’s notice. Here’s what we decided to grow this year in zone 8: flower shade mix, love in a mist, beefsteak tomatoes, Italian basil, Greek oregano, eggplants, cucumbers, zinnias, milkweed, sunsatia coconut nemeia, and lavender (although I think it will end up indoors). We will also be propagating the mint, rosemary, and chives from last year. Shop the below products to give your garden a boost too, no matter which zone you live in.
