Have You Taken A Spiritual Gifts Assessment?

Jan 31, 2020

A spiritual gifts assessment was given to me at church. After carefully examining my results, I realized that these rare gifts are not learned behaviors. These are pre-existing gifts God placed inside of me to use for His glory. I re-created the below spiritual gifts assessment for you. Simply drag and drop the images to print, or grab a piece of paper and a pen for this fun exercise. Take the assessment thoughtfully reading each word and being authentic.

Step 1

At the end of each sentence, write a number:

(1= almost never, 2= seldom, 3= sometimes, 4= frequently, 5= almost always)

Step 2

Group your first three sentence scores together to get a totaled number (it will be somewhere between 3 and 15):

Here’s an example:

  • I like organizing services and events. Write a number
  • I am passionate about managing details. Write a number
  • Creating a task list is easy and enjoyable to me. Write a number

My total = Sum of the above.

Do this for every group of three sentences (in order down the list) until you’re done. You should have 22 totaled numbers. Here is a visual example below. Although I would like to be a “crafty” gal, I’m just not spiritually gifted in that area. I can take classes and learn skills but if I were to serve in the church in that area, I would be taking the place of someone who got a 15 out of 15, someone supernaturally gifted by God to do that kind of work.

Step 3

figure out your spiritual gifts (look at the ones you scored a 14 or 15):

The first three sentences = the gift of ADMINISTRATION

The next three sentences = the gift of APOSTLESHIP

The next three sentences = the gift of CRAFTSMANSHIP

The next three sentences = the gift of EVANGELISM

The next three sentences = the gift of EXHORTATION

The next three sentences = the gift of FAITH

The next three sentences = the gift of GIVING

The next three sentences = the gift of HEALING

The next three sentences = the gift of HELPS

The next three sentences = the gift of HOSPITALITY

The next three sentences = the gift of INTERCESSION

The next three sentences = the gift of KNOWLEDGE

The next three sentences = the gift of LEADERSHIP

The next three sentences = the gift of MERCY

The next three sentences = the gift of MIRACLES

The next three sentences = the gift of MISSIONARY

The next three sentences = the gift of MUSIC / WORSHIP

The next three sentences = the gift of PASTOR / SHEPHERD

The next three sentences = the gift of PROPHECY

The next three sentences = the gift of SERVICE

The next three sentences = the gift of TEACHING

The last three sentences = the gift of WISDOM

Here is another visual example. This time, my score is 15 out of 15. From the list, I can see that my top spiritual gift is MERCY. What is yours?
