It’s so simple, but easy to forget sometimes…. God is the source of eternal hope, life, and salvation.

A person is not righteous in God’s eyes because of his or her ability to keep the law perfectly. You and I are considered “righteous” because we are God’s chosen people and we put our faith in Him, daily. That alone keeps me filled to the brim with gratitude and happiness. Below are a few verses to reflect on if you’ve been lacking hope, gladness, or joy lately. Please read them slowly. I hope they wash over you and that your soul will soon feel comforted, secure, and loved.

 

 

Psalm 16: 8-11

I keep my eyes always on the Lord, with him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

 

 

 

 

Psalm 15: 11
