Foods That Reduce Anxiety
Jan 3, 2024Details:
Eating doesn’t have to be an impulsive action due to stress. Sometimes, eating can lower my anxious feelings down a bit. I find that when I reach for sugar or caffeine, I can easily become heightened and feel nervous for no reason. However, when I eat healthier, I feel better. Since my home is full of foodies—Audri calls us “The Five Foodies”—we cook daily and we order takeout often. For my readers who also love to spend time around the dining table, but want to heal through food this year, I’ve compiled a simple list of foods that really do lower my anxiety. I hope it helps. I’ve also curated kitchen accessories for my fellow foodies below.
Foods that reduce my anxiety:
Avocados
Yogurt
Salmon
Eggs
Oatmeal
Kale
Turkey
