Quiet time thoughts from today’s Bible study:

“To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes proper answer of the tongue.” —Proverbs 16:1

Human responsibility is always subject to God’s absolute sovereignty. That’s freeing, isn’t it? As we plan, prepare, and put in the work, God Himself strategizes on our behalf! God is the overseer of our lives, the divine Chief Executive Officer. He alone opens and closes doors. Not luck. Not destiny.

So sketch your blueprints and lay the bricks, but hold it all with open hands.
